Chef's Pants Off: Wednesday, January 23, 6 - 9 PM, Camp Cody, Ossipee Lake Road, Freedom. Advance tickets only: Lazy Susan's Restaurant, ValuLand and The Brassheart Inn. $20 per person. Proceeds will be used to cover the expenses of bringing the Vietnam Veterans Moving Wall to Ossipee during Memorial Day Weekend 2008.

Charrette to design park in Center Ossipee

Where:

The listening, brainstorming, and public presentations will be held at St. Joseph's Church Hall, 23 Moultonville Road, Center Ossipee. Note: Parking restrictions will be in effect on Saturday, please watch for signs.

Why:

To work with residents to create design ideas for the new Center Osipee park and surrounding streetscape.

The Ossipee Main Street Program and PlanNH with financial assistance from the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation will be hosting a 2 day brainstorming session with designers, planners, builders, architects or others involved in the development process from PlanNH. They will visit the site in question and become familiar with it. Discussion and designing with the public begins after lunch on Friday and continutes through the end of Saturday, when final recommmendations are presented to the town. An actual document summarizing the work and including plans and other drawings will be delivered to the town shortly after the session concludes.

Public Turkey Supper Saturday, June 30, 2007 at Ossipee Crossings, 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Adult, children and family rates. Take out, too! Call ahead for take-out, 539-6851.

Girl's Night Out Friday, June 29, Ossipee Town Hall, 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. This is a unique opportunity to view and buy from your favorite local artisans as well as some of your favorite home products vendors. Some of the products available include homemade candles, homemade soaps, decorative arts, oil paintings, fabric pins & fancy post-a notes, rubber stamping, custom home sewing (slipcovers and window treatments), Avon, Tupperware, Home & Garden, Taste of Home, muffins (gluten-free, dairy-free, vegan and organic.

Light refreshments will be available and each vendor will also be providing a raffle item to be drawn that night.
